Provided information and its use.

The access to any sections of our Platform requires a registration.  During this process, personal data (name, address, e-mail and telephone number) will be required. By filling the required fields with his personal data, the user enables Tech Factory to supply the selected services. We also collect customer personal data when the user engages in correspondence with us (i.e. sending of communications per e-mail or letters) or gets in touch by telephone with Tech Factory. Please note that calls to Tech Factory may be recorded for security reasons, or for training and development purposes.  Therefore, we gather some information automatically about our Platform visitors, described in the section below entitled “Cookie and other automatically gathered information”.

We will use this information to:

• process customer’s inquires;
• send communications referred to services, among which administrative messages and notices;
• submit our new services and events in compliance with user communication preferences (for more information about how to control these updates, see section “Change or delete personal data”);
• conduct market research to improve constantly the services provided to our customers;
• prevent fraud and other prohibited and illegal activities;
• understand how our Platform is used to constantly improve both the Platform and our offers;

Cookie and other automatically gathered INFORMATION.

As many software Platforms, Tech Factory records user’s IP addresses and uses cookie and other technologies that allow customer recognition and the customisation of his experience, such as providing us information on how users access to our Platform. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or mobile app. It is used to recognise your computer when you return to a website or app you have already visited. Cookies are extensively used to implement and to enhance the efficiency of Platforms, as well as to give information to the owners of the Platform. We use cookies to improve our user’s on-line experience (i.e. saving their language choice) and to better understand how our Platform is used. For example, cookies may reveal us if the user has already visited our Platform or if he’s a new visitor. They also could may help us to ensure that the advertising shown on-line is more related to the user’s interests.

Which cookies does Tech Factory use?

The Platform uses only the following groups of cookies for the user’s computer and mobile device:

• Strictly necessary cookies
  These cookies are strictly necessary to enable you to move about the Platform and to provide certain services user has requested, as the access to restricted areas. Without these cookies, some required services, i.e. transaction pages and secure connection accounts, would not be possible.
• Functionality cookies
  These cookies are useful for many purposes relating to the presentation, performance and functionality of the Platform. Nevertheless, their general purpose is to provide enhanced features to the user allowing them to fully enjoy the functionalities of the Platform. For example, some of these cookies allow users to specify the language and other Platforms.
• Performance cookies
  These cookies are used to collect information on how visitors use our Platform. The gathered information do not identify any specific individual user and are gathered globally. Such information discloses the number of visits on our Platform, the platforms that directed users towards ours and the pages visited on our Platform by the users. We use this information to enhance the efficiency of our Platform, to gather demographic data and to supervise the activity level on our Platform.

How check or disable cookies.

User has the right to choose if he wants to accept cookies or not. In the following section, we explain how you may exercise this right. IP addresses.

We can collect information on user’s computer or mobile device, among others IP addresses, where it is available , the operating system, connection times and browser type.  We use this information to better understand how users move about our Platform and for internal informational purposes. We can make this information anonymous and share it with advertising agencies, sponsors and other activities.

Information sharing.

User’s personal data are not rented, sold or shared with other persons or not-affiliated agencies outside Tech Factory, except for the following circumstances:

• Implementation of the law, court, regulatory authority, government authority or other institutions, where we believe it is necessary to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, or to protect our rights or those of third parties;
• We might also disclose user’s‘ personal data to third parties which purchase or to which we transfer all our goods and activities, or integral part of them. In case of such a sale or transfer, we will do everything possible to make sure that the entity, to which the user’s personal data are transferred, uses them accordingly to this Privacy Policy.

International transfers.

The gathered information may be transferred, stored and processed in any country or territory, where one or more companies affiliated to our group, or third parties providing services, have their head office or carry out their services. Although some territories are not regulated by the same standards on protection of information of the user’s country of origin, we will keep protecting the transferred personal data in compliance with this Privacy Policy.

Protection of information.

We want that the user feels safe using our Platform and we commit ourselves to protect the collected personal data. We limit the access to user’s personal data to employees, which have a meaningful reasons to consult them, thus they may provide products or services to the customer or may regularly carry out their work. We have the appropriate physical, electronic, technical and organisational procedural guarantees to protect personal data provided by the customer from illegal or not-authorised procedures and against any accidental losses, damages or destruction.

How to modify, delete or consult personal data.

The user has the right to require a copy of the personal data contained in our archives to correct inaccuracies or to update any changed information.  The user may also require us to not receive direct marketing communications (although please note that we may continue to send communications on non-related marketing services, as well as updates via e-mail on services status). If the user desires to exercise these rights, or to argue on our use of personal data, he may write an e-mail to the address below.

Updates to this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Whenever we do it, we will publish the above-mentioned changes on our Platform. Whether the user does not approve these amendments, he is requested to please not continue to use the Platform. If this Privacy Policy will be amended, we will care to advise the user by e-mail, or to publish a clear warning notice on the Platform.
